Genesense

GeneSense project envisages the development of a software system which would consolidate all work performed by different genetic research studies and clinical genetic analyses under one roof. These include linkage, association, copy number variation and next generation sequencing. The user-friendly software, therefore, would enable an accelerated and improved genetic analysis and diagnosis. GeneSense would record and monitor the correlation between genetic data and the state of the disease-prognosis-treatment progress. It would further ease the otherwise demanding work load by presenting to the experts convenient warning and guidance displays. Due to its comprehensive multi-role capacity and various analysis methods, GeneSense would distinctively link the patient to a specific disease via genetic indicators and also contribute to the construction of databases containing genomic variances.
